October has been a rich month. Lots of milestones and growth.
Nancy came to visit for a week; soo lovely to spend time together. THANK YOU Nancy!

Our garage sale chariot; many thanks to all Peter's grandparents and to Nancy for the repairs. We use it daily, in all weathers.

Moggy has decided that she'll stay, despite Peter's addition to the family

Peter is smiling and laughing alot!

Robyn and Karli calm down Peter on a rosehip walk (not many rosehips were picked!)

Ben and Peter visit; their birthdays are one day apart.

Peter narrowly escaped a moose while napping in the stroller outside...
Peter loves hanging out with Lee

Grandpa Bob and Grandma Sharon came to visit for a week.

We had Peter's adoption finalization in the courthouse. We are now officially Peter's parents! The court hearing went super smoothly. Emotional? Yes. Here's a photo of Carol, grandparents, the judge, and Robin our lawyer. It was a wonderful day.

And, that night we celebrated with an adoption ceremony with friends at church. Carol led a lovely ceremony and Bev, Angela and Marcus provided readings to accompany the lighting of three candles: for Peter's birth parents, for Peter, and for our new family.

Peter wears his beautilful cardigans made by Hilary daily, Thankyou!

Winter has arrived

And, Peter loves the snow.. so far (snowman hat made by our neighbor Carol!)

and LOVES his reflection!

Peter and Ann are getting into their new home routine; here's our first snow solo trip up at Glen Alps together

Bundled up, ready for an adventure!

Books continue to be loved

This cardigan was Dustin's, made by his grandmother. And, the little moose hide/beaver booties were given by Pat and Mike in Dillingham.
