Peter started pre-school in October, three mornings a week. Dustin takes him in by bike by 8am, and Leif and I pick him up at 11am.

Calvin and Peter helped finish painting the house on their last play-date before Florida.
Turns out house-painting is not the best activity for four year olds!

Fall was a little too crazy
Dustin had to travel for about a month, and we were exhausted by too many house projects to complete before winter and the juggle of kids and work etc.

The never-ending gravel project.
We moved over 60 five-gallon buckets of gravel from the beach for the floor of the new wood shed. This added up to over 10 miles of walking back and forth.... gravel was a novelty for the kids to start off with... but enthusiasm soon dwindled..

Janet, Kevin and kids came for the last day of gravel hauling, it was great to have new energy! THANKS!
Despite all the juggling, we did get out for some fun outings, and Dustin and Kevin got a deer

We all got the flu before and over Thanksgiving, so we ended up tag-teaming outings over the holidays

Such fun to have an adventure together!
And, Julie and I got out for a skate at Sheridan.
We were the first on the ice for the day, and the lake was in full sun. Total Bliss.
