We finally made it home. The boys and I got stuck in Anchorage with the ferry strikes, and ended up leaving our car (full of gear) in Anchorage and flying home. Dustin flew up to Bristol Bay for work, and was home soon after us.
Lovely to be home to catch up with friends, enjoy the garden, and some freedom with fewer bears.
We celebrated Peter's birthday over a few days, with friends and again with Dustin when he was home. We had a joint birthday party with Noah, a kayak down to GI Joes and some silver fishing (thanks Josh), and a paddle with the Haisman crew. We love you Peter!

Our heatwave continued, and it was really like being in Hawaii!
