North Dakota in the winter

We love Cordova, but it's very hard to be away from our families.  This winter, we decided to spend a couple of months in North Dakota to be closer to Dustin's family.  We were generously lent a beautiful home to live in that was close to the river and great trails for biking and skiing.  Our days were filled with a new (very large middle) school for the boys, lots of pickup hockey, basketball for Peter, and special time with family.  
 
It was such a gift to have more routine time with grandparents.  
And, we loved the cold and sunny weather.
