North Dakota Thanksgiving

Boys skating on the English Coulee on the university campus.

We found a gigantic toy soldier.

Peter went to his first hockey game -- Grand Forks vs. Minot in high school girls hockey.

Love at first sight.

Lots to cheer about at a hockey game.

Clare, August and Peter got to play with all the best tractors and blocks after visiting the goats.

Big green iron.

Kurt and Peter prepare to "harvest the field"

Here's Peter helping Kurt to inspect the machinery.

On Main Street in beautiful Hendricks, Minn., Peter visits his first telephone booth. (No dial tone.)

Peter tests out the last swinging handle on the last piece of playground equipment at my grandpa's one room school house. With Norway Lutheran Church across the road.

We were happy to have cousin Tracey visit us on Thanksgiving.

Making fun -- throwing snowballs into the Red River of the North -- from the new footbridge.

We got a tour of James' helicopter with all the cousins.

Great Aunt Joanne and the cousin tour guides in the helicopter hangar.

Grandpa and Uncle Robert talk deer with Peter.
Old Traill County schoolhouse.
Boys meet my old friend, triceratops.
Even bike racks look like wheat in No. Dak.
Playing on the wonderful boulders outside the N.D. Museum of Art.
