Longer days

We harvested our LED garden salad... super yummy, but will take decades of salad to recoup the cost of the bulbs!

Nikki and I had a wonderful wonderful 3 days near Healy together... lots of sun, skiing, laughing, and catching up. Very special!

Moggy loves the willow!

Margaret came over for a craft evening, and we shared Earth hour together; turning lights out and linking in with people around the world.

Doug and Becky hosted a Dutch oven cook out at Eagle River. We sledded our meal in, and spent several hours cooking and catching up. Amazing what you can cook in a Dutch oven!

Great spring skiing... though still some blizzard conditions. Willawaw outing late March

Made a basket with a stripe of willow collected in North Dakota last spring

It's spring, and time to collect willows. Braved the sides of roads and railroads... and even Wasilla... to find moose-free first year growth.
