With all the good weather, we've spent many days not leaving the lagoon this summer-- alternating time on the beach and in the yard. The boys can still get lost for an hour or two at a time in the sand box, and love finding worms, helping garden, visiting the chickens, jumping on the trampoline next-door.
Dustin and I hiked Mt. Eyak one saturday morning. The perfect date!
Turns out you get a better workout if you know you're paying for sitters and need to get back before naps!
First day of pre-school for Peter. He's going three mornings a week, and loves it
High tides and one of the last days that was warm enough for spending a lot of time in the water.

Lots of dead salmon. The lagoon was very smelly with all the sun and lack of rain. Thankfully we soon had a couple of days of heavy rain to wash the majority out.
We had a fun evening paddle (Kayak and paddle board combo) out to a beach past Orca. Beautiful evening light, picnic, and lots of currents for making cordial.
