Peter and I traveled to St. George Island in May for Seabird Camp.
We tried last year, and were unable to land in the fog.. so, we were thrilled when Pen air made it this time.
What a contrast to Cordova.
Cold wind, no trees, swirling mist and birds.
We had a very full week with all eight of the kids who were on the island. Each day was filled with seabird field work and fun activities. It was such a privilege to be back on the island, spend time with the kids and birds, and share what I love.
