Summer escape

It was a great summer to head to fish camp, and escape internet, news, and COVID life for a couple of months.  Long days and lots of work, but spectacular beauty and wilderness, and we were thankful that we all kept safe and well.  Continuing to learn lots, and this year we were able to do some seabird fieldwork as a family which was a real treat.  Here are a few images to share:






Peter turned 10!  
We celebrated with pancakes, a fishing opener, and strawberry cake on the beach between tides.  
He said it was his best birthday ever.
