Ice

It may be fleeting, but Cordova has some magical skating, and we had a spell of incredible skating earlier this winter.  

Sheridan was glassy and vast, and we had a couple of wonderful days exploring the lake on bikes and skates.  The sloughs were frozen, and provided that winter window into life on the Delta, and Lake Eyak still has methane bubbles to light (Leif nearly lost his eyebrows)!
