Even though now, two months later, there are only cases of CORVID in Cordova, things moved fairly quickly during Spring Break. School shutdown, and there were city and state mandates to digest and follow. A transition period for everyone as we learned more about the virus, reached out to distant loved ones, and adjusted to a new schedules of juggling kids-work-school-and home.
We were so thankful that it was Spring, with signs of new life all around us. And, thankful for space to be able to play and recharge outdoors with minimal chance of seeing anyone! The boys thrived with their new schedule.
The sandpile opened up, and the boys and I spent many afternoons playing in the warm sand.
