Late spring

Easter sunshine, and a visit from the Easter bunny!
Easter Sunday zoom call!
Beach combing treasures
Art therapy
More mud and beach finds
Sunny days helped us all cope with the new social distancing
I love this photo.  Dustin and Peter seem unsure about Leif driving the boat and looking the opposite way!
Good, he's looking ahead again
Sunny soccer match at Humpback Creek.
Even though we try hard now, the boys can sometimes beat us.

Gardening, and planting onions from Uncle Robert
A quick trip to Little Egg Island
Halibut long-lining.  I think we're the smallest long-liner in the Sound, but we caught three this year

Trying out survival suits.  They still fit, and are still super fun to play in!

A trip down the Eyak on Mothers Day
Planting potatoes

Lots of exploring newly open ponds with nets

Hooligan fishing with friends

An evening picnic up at the ponds near the reservoir.  The most magical water garden you can imagine, and a place of dreams.

Our dear cat, Moggy, died this Spring.  She was 18 years old, and so much part of our family.  The boys adored her, and she slept with me each night.  She was such a solid, gentle presence in our family, and we miss her dearly.
Up to Eyak ridge, and a visit to winter

Spruce tips and syrup making.  It's been a rich spring for foraging, spring greens, and gardening.  Such an incredible time of year.
